Scott Young
Scott Young is a 34-year-old driver that has been behind the wheel of a sprint car for 16 years and can claim more than 100 race victories. In one stretch, Scott amassed an amazing 20 consecutive Top-10 finishes. He raced primarily with the Interstate Racing Association (IRA) for the first eight years of his career. In 1999, he had that opportunity to race full-time and took the chance, spending the year racing mainly with the World of Outlaws (WoO) and experiencing some success. In 2000 he moved to the World of Outlaws GUMOUT Series, a support series for the program, gaining valuable seat time and exposure.
In 2001, Scott drove for NASCAR driver Dave Blaney and his Outlaw Driving Experience School two-seat sprint car to meet and communicate with many corporate executives and gain experience with promoting "Corporate America."
While working for the Outlaw Driving Experience, he met key personnel for the U.S. Air Force and put together a sponsorship program which ran from 2002 through 2004. Other sponsors that Scott has represented include Nestle, Utopia Optics, Bral Restoration, Opti Gloss Products, Old Word Industries (Splitfire Spark Plugs and other products), Weld Racing, Simpson Race Products, Chasing a Dream (Breast Cancer Organization), and many others.
