Autosports’ driver is Scott Young. Scott is a 38 year old driver that
has been behind the wheel of a sprint car for 20 years and has been involved in
the racing business all his life. He raced primarily with the Interstate
Racing Association (IRA) for the first 8 years of his driving career.
During his career, Scott has won many races throughout the Midwest, racing
with various sanctioning bodies and at local “Saturday Night” races.
In 1999, he had the
opportunity to race full time and took the chance. He spent the year racing
mainly with the World of Outlaws (WoO) and experienced some success. In
2000, he raced with the now defunct World of Outlaws Support Series gaining
more experience and exposure. In 2001, when the funds ran low for the Young
Autosports team, Scott started another chapter in his racing career driving
for NASCAR driver, Dave Blaney, and his “Outlaw Driving Experience School”
two-seated sprint car to meet and communicate with many corporate people to
gain experience with promoting Corporate America. While working for the
“Outlaw Driving Experience School”, he met key personal with the U.S. Air
Force and put together a sponsorship program for 2002-2004.
